PREAMBLE
Why Rules Matter
Rules are the foundation of excellence.
An institution without discipline cannot produce responsible citizens. Structure builds character. Accountability builds leadership. Punctuality builds professionalism.
At ENGLISH EXPRESS “The Exceptional School”, rules are not restrictions — they are standards of excellence that define our institutional identity.
These regulations are designed to:
- Ensure safety
- Protect every child
- Establish equality
- Promote academic focus
- Create a leadership-driven culture
- Safeguard institutional dignity
These rules apply equally to:
- Students
- Parents
- Teachers
- Staff
- Administration
- Management
- Chairman
No individual stands above institutional discipline.
All parents/guardians are required to:
- Read the complete Rules & Regulations available on the school website.
- Acknowledge acceptance while filling the online admission form.
- Confirm understanding that submission of the form implies unconditional acceptance of all policies.
Failure to read the rules shall not be accepted as an excuse for non-compliance.
The school gate shall open and close strictly as per official timing.
- Once closed, no entry shall be permitted.
- This applies without exception to:
- Students
- Teachers
- Staff
- Visitors
- Management
- Chairman
- Any individual anticipating late arrival must inform authorized school personnel at least one hour in advance.
- Without prior intimation, entry shall be denied.
Purpose:
- Ensures student security
- Prevents unauthorized access
- Establishes punctuality culture
- Maintains equality in accountability
- Protects institutional discipline
Discipline begins at the gate.
The school follows a transparent three-stage improvement protocol.
If a student:
- Repeatedly misbehaves
- Is habitually absent
- Shows persistent indiscipline
- Fails academically despite support
- Negatively influences peers
Stage 1 – First CAP Letter: Formal warning issued. Immediate improvement expected.
Stage 2 – Second CAP Letter: Official written warning with final opportunity for correction.
Stage 3 – Third CAP Letter (Final Notice): Failure to improve shall result in termination of admission.
Termination shall be final. No monthly, quarterly, annual, or other fee shall be refunded. The decision of the school management shall be final and binding.
The school provides:
- Remedial support
- Academic mentoring
- Performance tracking
However, if a student fails to improve and parents do not cooperate, the school reserves the right to discontinue admission.
Education is a partnership. Success requires joint responsibility.
Parents must provide accurate and complete documentation including:
- Date of Birth Proof
- Aadhaar
- Transfer Certificate
- Blood Group
- Height & Weight details
- Address Proof
- Any Government-mandated documentation
For Class I onwards, documents are required for generation of PEN (Permanent Education Number) under UDISE norms.
If documents are not submitted despite official reminders:
- The school shall not be responsible for non-generation of PEN.
- Any consequences under Government regulations shall be the responsibility of the parent.
False information may result in cancellation of admission.
- The declared fee is the officially approved school fee.
- A discretionary concession may be granted for payment on or before the 25th of each month.
- Payment after the 25th results in withdrawal of concession.
- Full prescribed fee becomes payable.
- This is not a late fine or penalty.
- No exceptions, negotiations, or relaxations shall be granted.
- Fees once paid are non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Campus may be under CCTV surveillance.
- Parents authorize emergency medical assistance if required.
- The school is not liable for loss of valuables.
- The school shall not be responsible for disruptions caused by government orders, natural calamities, pandemics, or force majeure situations.
The institution maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward:
- Bullying
- Harassment
- Violence
- Abuse
- Misconduct
Strict disciplinary action, including termination, may apply.
Students and parents shall not:
- Defame the institution publicly
- Spread misinformation
- Damage institutional reputation on social media
Appropriate action may be taken under applicable law and school regulations.
- Prescribed uniform mandatory
- Electronic devices prohibited
- Non-vegetarian food not permitted
- English must be spoken on campus
- School property must be respected
Submission of the online admission form constitutes:
- Full acceptance of all school rules
- Agreement to institutional authority
- Waiver of claims based on lack of awareness
Non-compliance may result in suspension or termination without refund.
